Dear Parents/Guardians:

Kindergarten and Preschool* Registration for children who plan to attend the Eatontown Public Schools in September 2023 will be held as follows using the options listed below:

OPTION 1: In-Person Registration In-Person Registration for both Kindergarten and Preschool* students will be held at Meadowbrook School, 65 Wyckoff Road, Eatontown, NJ 07724 on the following dates and times:

Last Name (A-H): Tuesday, March 7, 2023, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM & 1:15 PM – 2:30 PM Last Name (I-P): Wednesday, March 8, 2023, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM & 1:15 PM – 2:30 PM Last Name (Q-Z): Thursday, March 9, 2023 , 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM & 1:15 PM – 2:30 PM

OPTION 2: Online Registration Parents/Guardians may complete registration for Kindergarten or Preschool* students online any time between March 1 and March 31, 2023 at https://www.eatontown.org/page/kp-registration.

OPTION 3: Registration Packet Pick-Up Parents/Guardians may pick up a registration packet any school day from March 1 to March 31, 2023 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at any Eatontown elementary school:

Woodmere School 65 Raleigh Court Eatontown, NJ 07724

Margaret L. Vetter School 3 Grant Avenue Eatontown, NJ 07724

*PLEASE NOTE: Preschool registrations must be completed and returned to the school no later than Thursday, April 6, 2023 due to limited seats.

REQUIREMENTS

Kindergarten: Children must be five (5) years of age on or before October 1, 2023.

Preschool: Children must be three (3) years of age on or before October 1, 2023.

There are no exceptions.

You will need copies of your driver’s license or photo ID along with your child’s original, state-issued birth certificate, passport or adoption papers, proof of Eatontown residency (a current lease, mortgage statement, or tax bill), as well as the following medical records when you complete the registration packet:

Required Vaccinations for Kindergarten Students:

  1. DTaP (Diphtheria, Tetanus, and acellular Pertussis): A minimum of 4 doses if one dose was given on or after the 4th birthday, OR any 5 doses

  2. Inactivated Poliovirus (Polio): A minimum of 3 doses if one dose was given on or after the 4th birthday, OR any 4 doses

  3. Hepatitis B: 3 doses

  4. MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella): 2 doses

  5. Varicella (Chickenpox): One dose on or after the 1st birthday, or proof of disease immunity

Required Vaccinations for Preschool Students:

  1. DTaP (Diphtheria, Tetanus, and acellular Pertussis): A minimum of 4 doses

  2. Hepatitis B: 3 doses

  3. Haemophilus influenza type b (Hib): A minimum of 4 doses if one dose was given on or after the 1st birthday

  4. MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella): 1 dose

  5. Pneumococcal conjugate (PCV 13): A minimum of 4 doses if one dose was given on or after the 1st birthday

  6. Inactivated Poliovirus (Polio): A minimum of 3 doses

  7. Varicella: One dose on or after the 1st birthday, or proof of disease immunity

  8. Influenza (IIV; LAIV): One dose due each year between September 1st and December 31st.

Students not in compliance with immunization requirements will be placed on provisional status in September. To remain in school, the student must receive any overdue vaccinations by October 8th.

PHYSICAL: A physical examination by the child’s private physician (on or after September 7, 2022) is required before the student enters school in September. This is a state requirement. A copy of the Physical Form will be provided as part of the registration process.
