Tryout Information

Please note the Sports Physical is due on March 1st – before tryouts!

Memorial School Baseball Tryouts
Monday, March 4th (6th, 7th, & 8th Grade)
Tuesday, March 5th (6th, 7th, & 8th Grade)
All tryout times are from 2:30 - 5:00 PM

  • All players who are trying out must return a permission slip and have an updated physical that is cleared by the Memorial School Nurse.

  • Any 6th grader who wishes to try out must obtain approval by their school principal, their teacher, and their physical education teacher. This must be turned in with the physical and permission slip on time. All paperwork should be turned in to the Margaret L. Vetter School Nurse when completed.

  • Students will need to bring all equipment with them to school on the day of tryouts. Students will need a baseball glove, hat, sneakers, cleats, sweatpants, t-shirt, sweatshirt, and drink. Bats may be brought but the school will have some if needed. Don't buy anything before tryouts if you don't already own it. We will have extra equipment if needed.

  • 6th - 8th grade students will be meeting at Memorial School on each of the tryout days. All 6th grade students will walk over to Memorial School after they are dismissed at the end of the school day. Students must be picked up at 5:00 p.m. There is no bus to take students home under any circumstances. Location of tryouts is to be determined.

  • If weather conditions do not allow outdoor tryouts, the tryouts will be conducted in the Memorial School gym. Students will be able to notify their parents at the beginning of tryouts if this is the case.

  • If you have any questions, please contact Coach Guiliano at rguiliano@eatontown.org or Coach Marvin at smarvin@eatontown.org.
