K-1 SOAR Gifted & Talented - Stretch for Outstanding Ability Range

Gifted & Talented students will participate in one of our 6-week sessions. Based on specific criteria for each session, students will be eligible to engage in either the engineering, art, music, or reader's theater session. Each section stretches the students critical thinking, imagination, and talents which culminates in a final project.

The Kindergarten and 1st grade SOAR programs are midway with students learning techniques for building stronger and higher using simple wood planks called Keva Planks.  The 2nd Grade ROAR program just concluded, and while none of our Keva drop towers and ramps were fully successful, parts of all of the unique designs were and we had a lot of fun while learning about angles and drop height.
