Any person wishing to become a member of the Board of Education must meet all of the following qualifications:
A citizen of the United States of America
Able to read and write
A resident of Eatontown Borough for at least one (1) year preceding the date of appointment
Registered to vote in the district
Not directly or indirectly interested in a contract with or claim against the Board
Not disqualified pursuant to R.S. 19:4.1
Not convicted of a crime or offense listed in N.J.S.A. 18A:12.1
