Our district is proud to offer two important summer programs designed to support student growth and success:
📚 Summer Learning Academy
This 5-week program provides targeted students with support to close learning gaps, reinforce essential skills, and prepare for the upcoming school year. Students entering Kindergarten through 8th Grade will engage in focused instruction in English/Language Arts Literacy and Mathematics. Participation is based on teacher recommendation and a review of student data.
🌟 Extended School Year (ESY)
ESY services are provided for students with exceptional needs who require special education and related services beyond the regular academic year, ensuring continued support and consistency in their learning journey.
We are proud to offer these programs that help meet the diverse needs of our students and support their continued growth throughout the summer.

Today, we celebrate an important milestone as our eighth-grade students complete their middle school journey and prepare to take the next step toward high school.
Over the years, these students have grown as learners, leaders, athletes, artists, musicians, and friends. They have embraced challenges, achieved success, and created memories that will last a lifetime.
We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and cannot wait to see what the future holds. Congratulations, Class of 2026! Your next chapter begins now.
Best wishes for a bright and successful future! 🎉

🚲 New E-Bike Rules Take Effect July 2026 🚲
If you ride an e-bike or motorized bicycle in New Jersey, important changes are coming.
Beginning July 2026, New Jersey law S4834/A6235 requires:
✅ Riders must be at least 15 years old
✅ A license or permit is required - MVC-issued e-bike license or permit for ages 15-16, valid driver's license for ages 17+
✅ Registration is required for all e-bikes and motorized bicycles
✅ Insurance is required for Motorized Bicycles (throttle-capable, assisted speeds over 20 MPH but no more than 28 MPH)
Safety Rules include:
⚠️ Helmets are required for all riders
⚠️ No sidewalk parking
⚠️ No speed modification kits
⚠️ Riders must follow all Title 39 laws for bicycles
🌟 Good news: Registration, licensing and examination fees will be waived during the first year.
E-Bike Classifications:
🔹 Low-Speed E-Bikes (pedal assist only, assistance ends at 20 mph) – registration required
🔹 Motorized Bicycles/Higher-Speed E-Bikes (throttle capable or assisted speeds above 20 mph up to 28 mph) – registration and insurance required
🚨📢🔔⚠️🚧KNOW THE RULES. RIDE WITH CARE. SAFETY IS EVERYONE'S RESPONSIBILITY. 🚨📢🔔⚠️🚧
Remember:
⛑️Wear your helmet
🚦Follow traffic laws
👁️Stay alert and visible
🚲 Share the road responsibly

Juneteenth reminds us of the importance of understanding our nation's history and honoring the contributions, achievements, and experiences of Black Americans. It is also an opportunity to reflect on the values of equality, justice, and unity that continue to shape our communities.
As we commemorate this important day, we encourage our community to learn, reflect, and engage in meaningful conversations about the past, present, and future.

The contest invited students in grades 3 through 5 from across Monmouth County to respond to the prompt, "What is America to Me? America could mean mean things to different people. Students are invited to write a poem sharing their perspectives on what America means to them."
Earning all three top honors is an extraordinary accomplishment, and we couldn't be prouder of these students for representing our district with excellence.
Please join us in congratulating our award-winning poets on this remarkable achievement! 👏✨
