Autumn is in full swing at our schools and our youngest learners recently enjoyed a festive, hands-on seasonal celebration thanks to the incredible generosity of our community partners!
The Eatontown PTA brought the magic of the season directly to our school by donating a wonderful pumpkin patch for our preschool students. Each child had the opportunity to walk through the patch and hand-pick their very own special pumpkin to take back to class.
Our creative teachers turned the experience into a dynamic learning opportunity across multiple subjects. Students rolled up their sleeves to decorate their pumpkins using bright paints, glue, and colorful paper crafts in art class. For science, classrooms launched exciting experiments to make predictions, test ideas, and explore their senses by touching, observing, and smelling the seeds inside their pumpkins.
The fall fun didn't end there! We extend a heartfelt thank you to Delicious Orchards for working alongside the Eatontown PTA to donate fresh, delicious apple cider donuts to all of our preschool classrooms. Students celebrated the crisp autumn weather with picnics, enjoying their sweet treats and snacks together.
Thank you to the Eatontown PTA and Delicious Orchards for making this fall tradition so special and memorable for our preschool families!
📢 Don’t forget to join the Eatontown PTA! You don’t need to have tons of free time, attend every meeting, or be an expert at anything. The Eatontown PTA simply needs families who are willing to lend a hand, share an idea, or help make something amazing happen for our kids. Right now, they need Pre-K volunteers! For more information, please contact the Pre-K Vice President, Deanna Bills, at prekvp@eatontownschoolspta.com.
