Dear Meadowbrook School Community Member:
I am pleased to announce that the Meadowbrook School Auxiliary Parking Lot, which is located next to Meadowbrook School, is substantially completed. The improvement to this area which serves the needs of the Meadowbrook School community as well as the broader Eatontown community could not have occurred without the partnership that exists between the Board of Education and the Eatontown Borough Mayor and Council. We hope this project represents the future of collaborative efforts between the borough and school system in the years ahead.
Although there are still a few more steps to take before the project is finished, we are prepared to make the lot available to families beginning tomorrow morning. This decision will allow parents and caregivers to access the lot prior to the Meadowbrook School Back to School Night which will occur this week. Here are a couple of things you need to know prior to entering the lot.
First, please follow the lines that have been installed in the lot. Traffic will enter using the traditional entrance that has been used for many years. However, when traffic leaves the lot, it will exit using the new exit located on the opposite side of the entrance. When exiting the lot, you can only make a right turn. Signage will be arriving soon. Second, please park your vehicle using one of the designated spaces. There are two handicapped spaces which are available for disabled individuals. Please note that traffic is monitored via our security camera by both school and police officials. Please be safe.
