Students in Mrs. Ciani’s class at Margaret L. Vetter Elementary School recently enjoyed an exciting end-of-unit Water Celebration outdoors. To beat the heat, students participated in a variety of water-themed activities that brought lots of smiles and laughter. Favorite games included Duck, Duck, Sponge, water cup relays, and a water balloon pass challenge. The fun-filled afternoon concluded with a refreshing ice pop treat on the playground!
Students in Ms. Elmes’ class at Woodmere Elementary School also wrapped up their Water Unit with a special celebration that included their Father’s Day party. Students and their loved ones spent time together enjoying a beach ball toss, exploring the water table, and creating bubbles. It was a wonderful opportunity for families to join in the fun and celebrate all that the students learned throughout the unit.
As the school year begins to wind down, preschool students across the district are preparing for their next exciting learning adventure. They will soon transition into the Preparing for Kindergarten study of the Creative Curriculum, where they will continue building important skills and confidence as they get ready for the next step in their educational journey.
