Eatontown Public Schools

Dear Parents/Guardians:

It is hard to believe that we are approaching the middle of January. Our school district has had a different but successful start to the school year. This success has been created due to the various members of our school community cooperating and collaborating together.

The Second Marking Period closes on Monday, February 1st. As per our district Restart Plan, I am asking parents to consider sending their child back to school in-person following the hybrid A/B Day, one-session day schedule. Parents and guardians will have until Friday, January 22nd to make this decision. Remote learning students may return to in-person learning beginning Tuesday, February 2nd. In order to change your child’s schedule from remote learning to in-person learning, parents and guardians must contact their child’s principal before Friday, January 22nd with their request. After Friday, January 22nd, the next check-in point for students to transition from remote learning to in-person learning will be the end of the Third Marking Period on Friday, April 16th.

If you desire to change your child’s schedule from remote learning to in-person learning, please contact the principal of your child’s school before Friday, January 22nd via email using the contact information below:

It is important to note that if you do not wish to change your child’s schedule at this time, no further action is required. Your child will continue to follow his or her current schedule. Please note we are closely monitoring this unprecedented situation. As information and/or guidance changes, the district will reassess its schedule in the future.

Thank you for your attention and cooperation.

Sincerely,
