Dear Eighth Grade Families,
As the school year winds down, I wanted to provide all of you with some “save the date”
information for the month of June. As guidance continues to come from governmental
agencies, I will disseminate more detailed information to give you time to plan as needed.
- Our Memorial School Activity Day is scheduled for June 1 (A) cohort and June 3 (B) cohort.
- The annual Graduation Dance is set for June 11, under the pavilion at Wolcott Park.
- While nothing can truly replace our annual eighth grade trip to Washington, D.C., we are scheduled to visit Six Flags Great Adventure at no cost to our students. (A) cohort will visit on June 14 and the (B) cohort will visit on June 15.
- Finally, our graduation will take place in the Memorial School Gymnasium on June 18 with ceremonies at 5PM and 7PM.
We hope these end of the year activities will be fun and memorable for our eighth graders.
