LEAD U Assembly

On Tuesday, second and third grade Woodmere Elementary students welcomed the incredible Lead U assembly, and the energy in the room was unforgettable! Students and staff came together to explore the meaning of TEAM — Trust, Engage, Active Listening, and Mission — and how these important values connect to our school community every day.

The assembly was filled with lively team-building activities that had everyone involved and smiling. Students participated in fun games like “puppets” and human rock-paper-scissors, while also taking time for mindful breathing exercises that encouraged focus and positivity. One of the highlights of the event was hearing students shout out and celebrate their friends for acts of kindness.

Our teachers joined right in on the action, helping create an exciting atmosphere of school spirit, connection, and teamwork. Lead U reminded us that when we trust one another, stay engaged, listen actively, and work toward a shared mission, we build a stronger school community together!
