Clap out

On Friday May1st, students and staff gathered in the hallways for a special Clap Out event dedicated to all 3rd grade students taking the NJSLA State Testing the following week. This fun event included upbeat music, including other grade levels cheering with pom poms and signs and even a visit from our very own Woody the Wildcat! This event was a true reflection of our school spirit, as the entire student body came together to uplift and celebrate our 3rd graders. It showcased the power of teamwork, with students and staff alike playing a role in creating an atmosphere of encouragement and positivity. Younger students looked up to the 3rd graders with admiration, while teachers and staff modeled what it means to support one another as a united school family.

The celebration also highlighted the strong sense of community within our school, where every student’s success is shared and valued. The day concluded with personalized messages from the 2nd grade classes, reminding the 3rd graders that they are supported, capable, and ready to shine. It was a memorable and meaningful experience that truly embodied the spirit of togetherness and pride within our school here at Woodmere. New traditions in the making!
