VES Students Plant Flowers

Students in Mrs. O’Connor’s and Ms. Ciani’s class at Margaret L. Vetter school recently worked together on a special planting project to help make the school courtyard a peaceful and welcoming space for everyone.

During the project, students worked together by carefully following each step of the planting process. First, they scooped holes in the soil. Next, they added flower seeds and covered them with fresh soil. Finally, the students watered the seeds to help them grow strong and healthy before they are ready to be planted outside in the safe courtyard space.

Students worked together as a team, helping one another and sharing responsibilities throughout the activity. Thank you to our students for their cooperation, hard work, and positive attitudes!

The flower-planting project not only helped improve the courtyard, but also taught students about teamwork, responsibility, and caring for the environment. Once the flowers bloom, students will see the result of their teamwork.
