The Vetter Post- January Newsletter      By Bernie R. (Grade 5)

Since 2023 has ended, a lot of new things have happened, like the completion of winter STEM Club, a bingo night, and a lot of delayed openings and a snow day.

First, we’re going to talk about the STEM club, which was run by Mrs. Ardise. In the STEM club, students built machines, like catapults and slingshots, out of materials such as rubber bands and popsicle sticks. Luke M. said, “STEM club was very fun.”

Also, there was a bingo night with the students and parents on January 24th, and it was run by
the PTA. Students played bingo and put in tickets for raffles for gift cards from Five Below,
Starbucks, and Roblox. Thalia F. said, “It was very fun, and I’m glad I won the raffle.”

Finally, there were a lot of snow days in the third week of January. There were 2 delayed
openings, and 1 snow day. Everyone enjoyed playing in the snow and having the day off.

That ends off the January article, happy New Year!
