Summer Learning Academy

Eatontown Public Schools is dedicated to providing educational opportunities that will enhance the overall success of individual students reaching their potential.  The district is constantly evaluating and assessing student progress and developing action plans to meet the needs of students who may require extra support. For the eighth year, Eatontown Public Schools will be offering an in-person Summer Learning Academy.  This Title I funded program will help targeted students to fill in gaps in their learning, reinforce important skills, and better prepare them for the next school year.

The Summer Learning Academy will provide a 5-week review of English/Language Arts Literacy and Mathematics skills for children entering Kindergarten through 8th Grade.  The program will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday through Thursday at Memorial Middle School beginning July 5, 2022 and ending August 3, 2022. Students in the program will receive breakfast as part of the program. Busing is available on a first come, first serve basis. Students are recommended for the program by their teachers as well as a review of data.

This year, through the district's partnership with the YMCA, a Wrap Around Summer Camp also will be offered at no cost to students enrolled in the Summer Learning Academy. The Wrap Around Summer Camp program will be held from July 5th through August 3rd from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.  Please click here to download a flyer with more information and to register for this program. The Wrap Around Summer Camp is a program run by the YMCA and therefore, the registration form needs to be sent directly to the YMCA, as stated on flyer. There will be no busing home from the Wrap Around Summer Camp.
